Andong 안동 Andong Tourist Park Hotel

The Lonely Planet guide recommended to visit Andong, I was a bit suspicious to be honest when I was trying to book a hotel. There is only one (?) hotel available in Andong - as soon as I arrived I knew why...

The hotel itself was located very close to the train station and to city centre. Although 185k inhabitants lived here, it didn't appear to be so. The hotel itself was a big surprise, as soon as I switched on the lights, "Sailermoon" appeard next to my bed - with different colors every second !


I don't know why, but this cat followed me to the hotel lobby until I got into the elevator...



Another curiosity was that I seemed to be the only guest in the hotel during my stay. All hotel room doors where opened (for fresh air?) whenever I passed my floor.
